Awareness Initiative
At our school, we try to conduct various interactive events for students to promote holistic growth that will also help them in their future. To emphasize the powerful message of anti-addiction, Jyotirmoy Public School – Sonarpur, one of the best CBSE schools in India, organized an Anti-Addiction Awareness Programme on 28.07.2025, Monday.
The aim is to encourage students to make healthier choices by facilitating Awareness Programme. It is essential to boost the mental strength of the students. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Bobby Chakraborty, a renowned social activist and anti-addiction programme, an actor, a trainer at SAMPAI, and formerly a Marine Engineer, who has been actively involved in de-addiction initiatives across the country. In an engaging and interactive session, “I Am The King of My Mind”, the activist shared powerful real-life stories, facts, and statistics highlighting the dangers of substance abuse, tobacco, and alcohol consumption. The speaker emphasized the psychological, social, and physical consequences of addiction, especially among youth. Consequently, Mr. Chakraborty’s 466th Anti-Addiction programme concluded with a solemn pledge.
